Reem Alex Elawny has been practicing for over 20 years in the areas of corporate and commercial law and mergers and acquisitions. She has significant experience in negotiating and implementing a variety of transactions, including acquisitions, divestitures and reorganizations.

​

Her experience includes national law firm, government and in-house work.  She started her legal practice as a corporate and tax associate at Dentons LLP.   She then worked for the Alberta Securities Commission in the Corporate Finance area.   While at the Commission, she was the lead lawyer on national projects involving changes in the prospectus and continuous disclosure rules. She also worked in-house at Newalta Corporation and Enbridge Inc., supporting the supply chain, land, joint venture, transactional, corporate secretarial and corporate commercial areas.
